Are you heading to the NAEA Conference in NYC?

Please see following information from Linda Conti, NAEA Middle School Level Chairperson. Contact Linda is you are interested in participating in this opportunity:

Dear SE Middle Division members:

On Friday March 3 (Hilton in NYC during the convention) at 8:30 there will be 4 focus groups with representatives from each division and each region.

We need to identify 2 middle level teachers from each region who have some experience utilizing museum(s) with their students. They should be dependable, i.e. when they commit to attend they will follow through!

This is a great chance to share with our colleagues. Contact me if you are interested. Thanks!

Life Long Learners!

As art teachers we are life long learners ! What a great opportunity we have to learn and share ideas through various art blogs from all across our city, state, country (and world). Technology allows us so many opportunities. From blogs to You Tube to itunes U to museum websites, we have so much information right at our keyboard. I am going to begin our January post by introducing you to an art blog that I have found helpful. It also includes a Professional Development opportunity. I subscribe to the blog via email. Each time the teacher post a new topic, it will email me a copy of the post. How easy! I also recently began subscribing to the Weekly Quick tip.
Enjoy !!
